We’re thrilled to introduce our first-ever brindle calf born at JCA Highlands! This striking brindle bull calf arrived on April 2, 2025, out of FTH Belle Starr and sired by H-L Duke.
At first glance, we believed he was red, but as the days passed, subtle changes began to emerge — his nose turned gray and streaked, and black undertones began surfacing throughout his coat. After conversations with experienced breeders, we’re confident he’s a brindle, and we’ll be DNA testing to confirm.
This calf will be AHCA registered and, as always, we perform DNA testing for parental verification. He is clear by parentage for the Myostatin NT-821 deletion gene.
We are accepting a 35% non-refundable deposit to hold him until weaning at 6 months of age.

He will be weaned in October and ready to go the end of October.
