WCM WENDY

WCM Wendy – Foundation Highland Cow

WCM Wendy Pedigree and AHCA Registration Information

WCM Wendy is a beautiful dun Highland cow with a truly unique and eye-catching coat. Her coloring almost appears highlighted, giving her a striking look that sets her apart in the pasture. Wendy is the only dun calf ever produced by our beloved Starry, despite Starry having been bred exclusively to dun bulls — making Wendy both special and rare in our herd. She is also Starry’s first calf, carrying on her dam’s outstanding qualities.

Wendy has a playful, proud personality and loves to “show off” her calves. She is always the first to make sure we notice her babies when we enter the pasture. Along with her charming demeanor, Wendy has excellent feet, sound structure, and a well-attached, productive udder — qualities we value greatly in our breeding program.

To date, Wendy has given us five calves:

  • 2 Bulls: One black, one dun

  • 3 Heifers: One red, one silver, and one dun

I’m hoping that in the future, she’ll produce another dun just like herself — her color and character are simply unmatched.

Genetic Information:
Wendy has tested as a carrier of the Myostatin NT-821 Deletion gene, a fact we consider carefully in our breeding plans to ensure soundness and quality in her offspring.

With her rare coloring, strong maternal instincts, and solid structure, Wendy continues to make a positive impact on our herd and our breeding program.
