We’re excited to offer this beautiful dun heifer calf, born at 10:00 AM on May 27, 2025, to first-time mom CAM Lottie Deno. Though Lottie is on the smaller side, she handled her first calving like a pro and delivered a healthy 57-pound calf. She’s proving to be an attentive and excellent mother!
Affectionately known around here as Spunky Monkey, JCA Lil Shot ‘O Whiskey has been the life of the calf party from day one. She may be smaller than the others, but she’s mighty. Full of fire, sass, and personality, she quickly stole our hearts—and the nickname stuck.
At first, we just wanted to scoop her up and cuddle her, but she soon showed us she could hold her own. With zoomies across the pasture and a love for playful head-butting, she took on older calves—and won! She’s feisty, fearless, and full of beans. Words like tomboy, sassy, and spitfire came to mind… until a friend dubbed her Spunky Monkey and it was perfect.
She’s expected to mature on the smaller side of mid-size—likely under 800 lbs—but don’t let her size fool you. She’s thick, stout, and full of Highland heart. Her dam, CAM Lottie Deno, is absolutely stunning and one of our most admired cows—she’s not for sale, but this calf is the next best thing.
Her sire will be confirmed via DNA and is either FTH Tobermory or FTH Smoky Scot, both exceptional bulls with proven pedigrees. She will be AHCA registered and DNA verified for parental confirmation.
