FTH Belle Starr Pedigree and AHCA Registration Information

FTH Belle Starr is the youngest of the original three “red head” Highlands that began our journey here at JCA Highlands. Interestingly, Belle is the aunt to our beloved Annie, and the two are so similar in appearance and presence that they can often be hard to tell apart.

Belle is a strikingly attractive and charming Highland cow, known not only for her beauty but also for producing exceptional calves with fantastic temperaments. To date, Belle has produced:

  • 3 Bulls: One black, one red, one brindle — the latter being the first brindle ever born on our farm

  • 3 Heifers: All dun

Belle truly checks every box for us — a calm, sweet disposition, excellent conformation, sound structure, great feet, and a quality udder. She has become an essential part of our breeding program thanks to her consistency in producing both eye-catching and well-behaved offspring.

Genetic testing confirms that Belle is NEGATIVE for the Myostatin NT-821 Deletion gene, supporting her excellent structural soundness.

Her sire, LEA Broderick, holds the prestigious designation of Impact Sire, having produced four or more Impact Dams within the Highland breed. This strong pedigree is clearly reflected in Belle’s quality and contribution to our herd.

Belle remains one of the cornerstones of our foundation herd, combining beauty, personality, and reliable production in every way.
