FTH Annie Oakley – Foundation Highland Cow
Born September 19, 2014 at Flashing Thunder Highlands
FTH ANNIE OAKLEY Pedigree and AHCA registration information
Annie is truly one of the friendliest and most beautiful Highlands in our herd. She came to us from Flashing Thunder Highlands as part of the very first trio that founded JCA Highlands. Annie has already made her mark in the Highland community — her daughter, Mousse, is well-recognized thanks to 100 Acre Woods Highlands on YouTube.
A proven and dependable dam, Annie has given us six exceptional calves to date:
-
2 Bulls: One black, one red
-
4 Heifers: Yellow, black, dun, and red
Her easy calving history, calm temperament, and strong maternal instincts have made her an invaluable part of our breeding program. In addition to her outstanding disposition, Annie boasts stunning conformation, structural soundness, excellent feet, and a well-attached, productive udder — all essential qualities we strive for in our herd.
Genetic testing confirms that Annie is NEGATIVE for the Myostatin NT-821 Deletion gene
Her sire, LEA Broderick, holds the prestigious designation of Impact Sire, earned by producing four or more Impact Dams within the breed — a testament to the strength of Annie’s pedigree.
Annie continues to be a cornerstone of quality, temperament, and productivity in our Highland herd
